Lost me team!

I updated my Iphone to the newest version about week and a half ago, and when I went to open up Tap it was just a black background, with no life. After about a day of turning my app on and off, it finally opened, but my original team was gone, and it made me start a whole new team. I have contacted Apple about trying to retrieve my old file, and after going through a few routine steps with them, they told me to get the developers help and that's it. I just want my old team back, since i've spent alot of time and money constructing it. Can anyone help me out on this...GLU?
