Playoff games

Today's event is the bonus game event I want to participate but I also don't want to move up in rank. Can I purposely lose the playoff games? And if I do will i have to win 20 games again for the playoffs?

    There is a red circle on the top left of the screen before the game.  click on it and forfiet the game.  do that 3 times until youve lost the playoffs.  after that you will have 3 bonus games, not the full 20 to get there.  win those 3 and repeat the process.
