Hey guys,

At long last, I'm pleased to announce that we've finally released MLB TAP SPORTS BASEBALL 2017 on both iOS and Google Play, and it should be available for users within the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and Germany.

Seeing as how we JUST released, I don't expect the app to populate on both stores for everyone.  If that's the case, here are the links.

iOS - https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/mlb-tap-sports-baseball-2017/id1166408534?mt=8
Android - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glu.baseball17&hl=en

So what's new with MLB TAP SPORTS BASEBALL 2017?

MLB teams and uniforms!

You now have the ability to play as your favorite MLB franchise!  While you won’t have access to a team’s entire roster of players, featured players of your selected team along with their standard authentic uniforms will be there for your enjoyment!  Alternate uniforms can still be purchased with in-game currency.

Stadiums!

Different game modes have different stadiums that you’ll be prompted to download, featuring both daytime and nighttime visuals.

Team Progression!

MLB TAP SPORTS BASEBALL 2017 features a refined Team Progression system.

Now there are five tiers (bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and diamond) each with six levels to go through before moving up to the next tier.

The higher the tier your team is at, the better the players you’ll have access to (check Player Progression for more info), and you’ll also be awarded with prizes indicated on the Team Progression screen.

Player Progression!

Players on your roster can now be improved with a combination of both currency and EXP!  New to Tap Sports Baseball, EXP is collected when trading in unwanted players from your inactive roster or when obtaining a player you already have on your roster.

All players you acquire will be capped at your current Team Progression Tier, so if you’re at the Bronze Tier, you’ll acquire bronze tier players.  If you’re at the Silver Tier, you’ll acquire Silver Tier players and so forth.

When a player reaches level 10 at his current tier, he cannot be promoted to the next tier unless your team is at the appropriate tier.  For example, if you’re at the Bronze tier, a bronze level 10 Kris Bryant won’t be able to move up to Silver level 1 until your team attains Silver tier status.

If you acquire a player already on your roster, your player will level up and also be taken to your current tier.  For example, if you have a bronze level 2 Kris Bryant and you get another bronze Kris Bryant, you’ll now have a bronze level 3 Kris Bryant.  However, if you have a bronze level 3 Kris Bryant, and you acquire a silver level 1 Kris Bryant, you’ll then have a silver level 2 Kris Bryant (assuming you’re also at the Silver tier). –In the case of having bronze level 10 Kris Bryant and not being a silver team, when you obtain another Kris Bryant you will also get an evolution token.

Introducing Club Leveling and Loyalty!

Leveling your players and teams through the new progression system is the name of the game, and your Clubs are no exception.

MLB TAP SPORTS BASEBALL 2017 also includes the ability to level up your Clubs to receive better rewards, including Evolution Tokens!.  Now teams are encouraged to remain in their clubs in order to prove their loyalty!

Like players and teams, clubs start off at Bronze Level 1 and can be progressed 10 levels before moving up in tier. For example, Clubs are improved to Silver Level 1 after meeting the requirements to level up from Bronze Level 10. This same process applies when moving to up to the Gold, Platinum, and Diamond tiers.

Clubs are automatically leveled up when enough donations are made of each Club Token.

There are three kinds of Club Tokens in the game: Helmets, Balls, and Gloves.

When enough Helmets, Balls, and Gloves are donated, the club will level up.  In addition, each donation of Club Tokens will result in compensation of Loyalty Points, which can be used to buy special Mystery Boxes called Club Loyalty Boxes.

Each Helmet donated earns 40 Loyalty Points.

Helmets are obtained by:

·      Purchasing gold in the game

·      Exchanging gold or cash for draft picks or multidrafts from the Store

Each Ball donated earns 20 Loyalty Points.

Balls are obtained by:

·      Leveling up your own players on your roster

·      Exchanging gold or cash for upgrade levels from the Store

Each Glove donated earns 4 Loyalty Points.

Gloves are obtained by:

·      Finishing bonus games

·      Finishing prime event games

·      Finishing tournaments

There are quite a few forumers who already know about all of the above, so please help each other out should anybody have questions.

And the best part is alot of the people who played during the testing phase of the game (iOS Canada) are getting their teams jailed without being given a reason so this will help all the new comers. Good luck to all the new players....
