Is there a way to stop donation notifications in 2017? Its annoying and kills the chats.

Just start using a 3rd party app chat. In game chat isn't very good. Highly unlikely they remove donation notifications from chat.

I agree 100% the chat was a valueable tool in '16. Its been rendered to a news feed now.

yes. chat is useless. club was forced to use 3rd party app to communicate which is fine. but cant even say anything to new members who join club. unless they read it RIGHT AWAY, its lost in the donation notifications. nobody cares who donated what

Perhaps have a way at least to filter just chat, then another tab for all activity including donations, players entering, exiting, getting kicked, etc. give us a way to keep chat separate from all other activity that is bogging down the chat itself.

Chat's one thing that we're working on improving. As for the suggestion of putting the donation notifications somewhere else, that'll be put into consideration.

Dont "consider". The chat is a usefull tool that enhances the club. The donation news is the single worse use of that chat.
