gold ballpark bundle isnt levleing up

i understand it doesnt level up during fan rewards, which seems kind of crappy to me, but whatever.

but i have tried for 3 times now to collect gold while NOT during fan reward and the bar at the bottom doesnt move at all, the 0/4000 doesnt increase at all. 

i dont think this is working correctly, is anyone else experiencing this?
