What happens when you get a duplicate of a player that's already max'd at level 10?

Thanks in advance.

Do you get more than you otherwise would? For example, if Miggy was level 9, then he'd be level 10 and I'd get exp.

Im not for sure. I believe it gives you the trade in value for the player, but I may be wrong on that.

I think it increases the stats too but I'm not quite sure

It won't evolve the player if he's already capped because the player's level can't be above yours(i.e if you're silver, he can't be gold).

Thats correct. Im pretty sure it just gives you the same amount of exp points as if you had traded the player in for exp.

I thought his stats (hitting, power, speed and overall) go up but his level stays capped. I could be wrong

If that's the case, it's better to keep them at level 9.
