Hitting better

Can anyone give me some insight on how to be a better hitter.

    watch the pitcher, then follow the ball in.. wait for fast balls. only hit curves when you have too..

    Lay off sliders too.. they'll usually end up being ground outs...curve balls will usually be fly outs unless you catch one hanging

    Never swing on the first pitch, way lower chance of getting a hit. I think it is even better to swing after the first strike has passed by you.

    I agree with you more than half the first pitches are for balls anyways.... you have a better chance on getting a pitch you can drive that way... pitching is carp on this game anyways
