How games are matched up?

So I asked customer care this question.

I have a 3 point question

1st how are the teams I play against picked? is it based on my level (gold XI) or team strength?

2nd in season mode how are the teams I play against picked? Also what happens if I level up after season started?

3rd how are the clubs we complete against determined? I've heard all kinds of opinions some say it's baesed on club level some say club strength others say it's just randomly assigned.

Regarding your matchmaking concerns, there's a host of factors that determine the matchup that a player may encounter. Unfortunately, we cannot specifically pinpoint such technicalities in the ticketing system.
