Very disappointed in the fan reward...edit: HAPPY TEARS!

I knew a reliever was inevitable, but labor day weekend? Such a gut punch. I feel like I've been waiting forever to get a good legend bat from fan rewards. Each week, my friends and I talk and plan out how we will approach the fan rewards. And each week, we are left disappointed. Even now, I have hope that there is a bonus tier reward worth chasing...I really do need to adjust my expectations. 😪

    Last week the same source told me it would be Doc Ellis. An hour ago, I was told it would be Gagne. 😭 I really, really hope he's wrong. In fact, I'm putting this out there because a small part of me hopes they will change their mind.

    Are you sure when you heard Gagne, he wasn't saying Griffey? >:)

    lol dont get my hopes up. I only have 25k, mean I need to do a bunch of offers in 2 days to get him.

    I was hoping for Ted Williams...Labor Day, military hero, seemed to fit.

    What does Labor Day have to do with the military? A little too early to be drinking isn't it? Maybe they'll have a military hero as the Legend Fan Reward for Columbus Day or Halloween.

    Eric Gagne it is. Hasn't it been a pitcher something like 3 or the past 4 weeks? Very disappointed. We've been waiting for a lefty bat since the 4th of July!

    So @DFBB how much advance notice do you require for special player requests we may have, and, could you discuss alternative ways of raising 30-40k quickly in gold without using the credit card? :wink:

    I believe I picked him up in a WOH event maybe around late September.

    I believe @LonzoBallin is right about the timing. I believe he was the 3rd or 4th WOH prize. That was the 1st time I cycled WOH as well.
