Bought the box for $19.99. XP on all the boxes. Should’ve known better but thought I’d give it try for a late boost to the club. As always, thanks for the kick in the dick, Glu.

Also I had a couple 10 boxes not pull a player at all then I got lucky or spent enough I guess lol

I wonder if all the hacking has been affecting our chances of pulling players, like if there’s only a certain amount of players to be pulled for every 1000 boxes and the hackers pulling the players every box is Killing us? The other day someone posted hackers were able to beat woh and collect all the rewards by just beating 1.1. I bet that affects our chances at getting good pitch sequences. I’m sure it’s just my paranoia but woh seems allot easier the first 2 hours and then the pitch sequences get impossible.

While I don’t think something like the hacking has much of an effect on whether I win or not the last two WoH events I cycled twice without a loss then proceeded to finish 2-13 and 2-17 on those days.  Granted if I played better I cycle probably 1-2 more times each day as I would inexplicably miss a fastball or swing at a ball in the at bat and then make an out so who knows really.

@whammo911 the hack you are referring to seems to be the same type of hack they had for Slugfest when the game was just released. As far as the pitch sequence being harder because of it I don't think that's the case as it wouldn't matter as far as the hackers are concerned as 1.1 would not be hard at all anyway.

I look at this game like a casino, the house always wins and if the case is they have a quota of how many free prizes and comps available for each event, special box ect. The odds stay the same but decrease for people playing it straight when those players and rewards are being taken for free and multiple cycles are completed by beating the first guy. Like I said I doubt it but it is a possibility.

That hack seems pretty easy to verify as either all points would be scored in a bundle or not scored at all. I’ve heard of a hack that allows for every hit to be a HR...which, by the way, also comes in handy for CvC as well as Sluggo. Wonder how the hackers did vs Diaz in WoH as those pitches were unhittable. I reckon maybe that is why Diaz was amped up? The backlash was too great so now the hackers can once again thrive...
