Weekend Bonus

Saw the weekend bonus news.
Apparently Legend Gary Cater is bonus. Sucks, one of the guys in my club was off by one letter... he pulled Gary Carter in todays gift. Better luck next time I guess lol.

    @Houmy I only know the legends themselves are 3.5%

    If those are the weekend bonuses, it certainly looks like another weekend event of not spending anything. Maybe someday they'll make the weekend event worth playing again. But, as long as they keep trying to shove new versions of existing players down our throats in extremely low odds boxes, they're only encouraging the cheaters and hackers to dominate the game while others sit on the sideline hoping to get lucky when they send out the free gifts.

    @miggyrising, I've pulled bonus players via CvC numerous times...but it still doesn't make me want to play the event.  For what?  I spend 1000 gold or whatever, that's about two streaks.  And it's not remotely close to enough to win me back any gold. Most likely I win back #1 and first round draft picks that became obsolete to me about 5 months ago.  And even that happens only if I win CvC MVP and the reward is bonus boxes, which isn't guaranteed. 

    It's utterly pointless.

    Well, they added the announcement back again and still Gary "Cater" is a bonus player. 
    Maybe they will release a "dumb GLU" box later today that includes that legend.

    Oh well I guess its just an easy pass for me.  Already have Bench and haven't quite leveled up Jorge yet

    Yelich from WoH should be getting 11k a hit. I am not getting this for him. I am only getting the little team bonus. For dodger hits...

    As they have done multiple times in the past, when they re-release players as bonus guys, they forget to code the previous released guys as bonus despite being exact duplicates... until complaints and tickets start rolling in....

    It also says each batter gets 11k points from any of those boxes and I have 2 and none getting points.

    Probably because its the wrong players. Hill and Bradley are supposed to be in that box.

    I believe they messed up and forgot to update the player pool. The players shown are the exact same ones from last week and don't include JBJ.

    Anyone see a FA Bellinger in the box? He is a CvC bonus player, but I can’t find him

    Yea I splurged to get Bench.  I had been saving gold for almost a month when he was fan rewards.  Figured no way I see a better catcher but then I got lucky with the Jorge pull this week.

    The good news is I bet we can expect at least a free box from GLU for this mishap.  Of course its probably XP but oh well

    Heck’s yeah...just got my free gift box (otherwise called correcting a Glu f-up)!

    a whole 700xp...now I’m a bit closer to 1.5mil XP!!!

    Im waiting to open the box... no player pictures yet so probably still messed up. Guy in club also got 700xp @fahhq2 which makes me think it is not right yet.
