Cvc as Gold team

what strength do I need to be to actually score high? I’m currently 115K and still average around 10K with the random 70-80K entry.

    Not sure if team strength matters per say.  Having the right players skills I assume helps alot.  For example the blow out skill is active in CVC, Late innings is not.  I look for guys with RISP, Blowout skill or try to matchup up lefties or righties if i know the starters.

    My team is proof that team strength isn't a good indicator of CvC success. My team simply doesn't do well in CvC.

    edit: For what it's worth, I have many of the same players that teams who crush CvC use. I can match my team exactly to theirs and yet, my team will still disappoint. :(

    Just played 9 entries. First round was 69K (nice). Ended with a total of 98K after the other 8 entries. That makes no sense

    i dont understand how blowout skill is active when there is no score in cvc?
