Team building advice for woh

Here is my current team. I am level silver. I know half of my team is still in bronze, but I don’t want to spend the resources to upgrade them to silver. I was able to reach level 5.6 today in woh. It was the first time I reached level 5. I currently have around 5500 gold. What is the best advice to be able to cycle in woh? I’d love any of the players in today’s royale box but I know my team isn’t strong enough. Any suggestions from people who cycle regularly?

    You basically need 470 + max players with 2 active skills for 5.8 5.9 and 5.10

    next time rhey offer the elite prime box. id buy one if theyre all batters. if you have $30 tp spare its guaranteed and probably cheaper than chasing in the boxes. thatd be a start and your team will get stronger from there. the big swingers will come

    Keep building your team with the free boxes and event rewards. You will need to have 5 decent players  with two skills and around a 470 max to beat woh. You will also need 3 of those 5 to be guys who hit righties well and 2 of 5 for lefties and upgrade their skills to 14-16. Also the two skills should be active in woh. A guy who has 2 skills and they are cvc doesn’t help

    @Kak88 Today's box would be a big help to you if they give out any free ones or if you win cvc mvp/high score (probably what will be in the box).  It has BF Yelich and Legend Eric Davis in it.

    Am I better off waiting for the weekend box where there is typically a 25% chance to pull a player or trying for the players in the box today where there is only a 5% chance to pull a player?

    i bought 4 and pulled yelich but i cant say youd have the same luck

    @Kak88 I wouldn't spend gold on a box unless you were feeling really lucky.  At 5% odds you would probably need to buy a lot of boxes to be sure you got one of the players.  Free boxes and if you are in a platinum or diamond club , the high round reward in cvc make a great way to upgrade.  You have Goodrum, and he is the high bonus guy for cvc today so you could have a legit shot at some high rounds.  The quality is very good in the box if you get a player.

    @Kak88 another option would also be the gamechanger boxes where the odds of pulling a player are much better. They are only good for one week though and will be lower max the next week and pretty much useless in WOH but hopefully whomever you pull from cycling WOH will be a batter that will help you in the next WOH.

    You need at least 2 max 490 players.  Lefty and Righty specialist or 2 late inning skills/walkoff hero skills.  After 80 gold boost you should be about 180-200 better than the woh pitcher.
