    So, 

    Simmons 320/302/238
    Bogaerts 307/337/199

    I have Bogaerts leveled to Diamond 5 already anyway. Just having those 11 walk off boxes made me think if I got Simmons to Diamond 6 or 7 that I'd cap him using the boxes. However, I'm not sure Simmons is any better (actually worse, if you are looking at combined hit/power and disregard speed entirely like I do).

    Think I'm gonna stick with Bogaerts.

    Man if it’s close I say it’s not worth losing the resources you’ve already invested in Bogaaerts.

    Yeah and I prefer Bogaerts anyway with that astronomical power rating (530 max Boggs is 328 pwr at Gold 10 in comparison). 

    To get Bogaerts to D10 is 371k XP and 14k gold. To get Simmons to D7 is 230k XP and 7k gold. So with Simmons, it's less XP and gold but then I'm not guaranteed to get him 3 times in the 11 boxes I have either. 

    So, yup, sticking with Bogaerts here.

    @DFBB you have that Boggs and I have this one. Was having a blast from the past moment last night (92ish) and pulled out my old collection. What a legend team that whole page would be.

    I doubt it would happen, but I would love to see either of the bash brothers as legends in the game.

    Ahhh, yes. The pitfalls of having two same-handed skills as I feared. I wish he had a RISP skill or something else instead of a second RHP skill so he’d fare better against lefties. I don’t own him but he was one of my fav players. Thanks for sharing.

    I went crazy over it in 92 & 93 thanks to the Braves and the 92 NLCS game 7. Gotta go through them one of these days and see if there are any rookie cards in there that can get me to retirement any sooner :wink:

    I found my Wade Topps Diamond gold (winner) card saturday and sleeved it.  Ill never dump any of my cards but it was nice to know I had some nice newer cards.

    I can live with a .539 avg vs LHP...especially with a .811 vs RHP! That’s absolutely incredible🤪

    Minor miracle that I was able to pull this off today.  It took 14 cycles to get him there.  After 10 my gold was so depleted I wasn't sure I would even get one more.  Got #14 with 90 seconds left in the event down to 200ish gold and on my video continue.
