The future of derby/slugfest...

Thus far, it looks bleak. I realize that it's still beta, but it appears the current format(woh/sprint/Royale/bonus/prime) is here to stay. If anyone has info/news to the contrary, I'd love to hear it. I know many don't care about derby, but imo, it was the only event that required some form of skill. Anyways, here's hoping. 😟

    I know my ability to build a strong base of resources at the beginning of the year will be hurt if they completely do away with derby/slugfest. I know a lot of guys don’t like or use it, but having a solid slugger lineup has always been helpful for me in bronze/silver tiers. Anything above those tiers, and it is too expensive to maintain a strong slugger lineup.

    Slugfest was the foundation for my 18 team - built up huge amounts of prime xp when it was a scarce resource, which allowed me to build big bats for WOH. Hopefully they can figure out a way to keep it relevant.
