I need some advice on who I should carry over!! I have 3 different teams with a bunch of options for each. Here they are:

    Options from team #1:
    - OF Ted Williams / Max 525 / CvC and CvC
    - 2B Johnny Pesky / Max 505 / RHP and CvC
    - OF Khris Davis / Max 540 / Blowout and Blowout
    - 1B Marvin Gonzalez / Max 510 / RHP and Prime
    - 3B Matt Carpenter / Max 520 / Blowout and RISP
    - SP Aaron Nola / Max 510 / RHB and Late Innings
    - SP Aaron Nola / Max 510 / 2 Outs and 2 Outs
    - SR Jordan Hicks / Max 515 / RHB and Prime

    Options from team #2:
    - 3B Mike Schmidt / Max 545 / LHP and WoH
    - OF Ichiro Suzuki / Max 540 / WoH and WoH
    - OF Mookie Betts / Max 525 / LHP and RISP
    - SS Ernie Banks / Max 490 / Blowout and RISP
    - OF Charlie Blackmon / Max 530 / RISP and CvC
    - SP Noah Syndergaard / Max 480 / 2 Outs and Late Innings (my only good pitcher)

Options for team #3 (only have 3 players but just showing to compare vs. 2 other teams):
    - 3B Wade Boggs / Max 530 / RHP and RHP
    - 1B Paul Goldschmidt / Max 520 / Late Innings and LHP
    - SR Rollie Fingers / Max 530 / 2 Outs and 2 Outs

What is the best combo for teams 1-2 and which of the 3 teams is my overall best?
    Team #1
OF Khris Davis - I honestly hate the Blowout skill so I reluctantly made this decision. Sure he will be nice for simming bonus and prime games and he will have good stats I'm sure, but he also is useless in WOH. He will have your highest base stats for many months to start though so that's nice.
3B Carpenter - Reluctantly would pick him as well, you can do better and you could argue for any of the others honestly. I personally like Gonzalez as well for a switch hitter but I also hate the Prime skill.
SP Nola RHB & Late Innings - I like him because most batters are RH and late innings, especially early, will result in more complete games from your far and away best pitcher.
Team #1 Keepers are weak IMO.

    Team #2
3B Schmidt - Awesome RH WOH player, and will contribute in other modes with the RHP skill.
OF Suzuki - Awesome LH WOH player, but won't be as useful in other modes with the double WOH.
SP Syndergaard is a must as you have no other options, maybe you get lucky and pull something better before the end of '18.
Team #2 Keepers I'd argue are your best, especially if you value WOH at all. If you could add a better pitcher it's actually close to being elite in terms of WOH ability.

    Team #3
I like this team. The keepers have skills that will be active in WOH but also most other modes. Maybe your best team if you prefer playing all modes and don't plan on cycling in WOH.
Luck = getting all curveballs in WOH

I have a question about keeping players for my 2019 team. I understand about the .60 value devaluation to the max player value. What isn’t clear is what will be the basis of this. If I keep a “Beast of the NL East” player with a current max value of 525, will that 525 be the basis of the .60 reduction, or will the the basis be a reduced max value (like what happened with “game changers” and “players of the month.”)?

@slafrance2 I would definitely take Posada as good catchers are hard to find and then either Harper or Benintendi as they are both lefties. Harper's CVC skill won't help in WOH but honestly with the skills costing 5x for the keepers to level up I don't see most of us leveling both anyway.
GLU has already said that your Create A Legend will improve throughout the year as well, so creating a switch-hitting C may be a solution that allows you to bring two other position player studs. And I tend to gravitate toward choosing a RH with double LH skills and a LH with double RH skills. Those skills, when activated, will BOTH be activated, and they will be activated in multiple events. Guys with differing skills have fewer scenarios where both skills will be activated. I took Molitor and Boggs.

I am thinking my lhp handed keeper will be atg Mantle, although Monitor has a case too. The rhp is where I am having trouble deciding.
Jt 550 woh/rhp although he's not a traditional lefty bat he is a strong catcher and a usable skill in other modes .
Ichiro 540 woh/woh definitely the woh specialist
    Green 535 woh/woh
    Any advice would be helpful.

I'd probably go with Jt over Ichiro because of his versatility. I tested him out yesterday against 5.8 of WOH and he did fine. Comparable to Green once I got his skills equalized to Greens. Then again, small sample size and would also like to try him against a 5.10 WOH pitcher.

Same here. The only tricky thing is him being a righty. I want to try him out too at 5.10. I imagine he'd be able to cycle with decent consistency.

Dont be afraid of the righty on righty match up for WOH. Back in Nov and December LL Trout with double right skills was crushing 5.10 righties in WOH - now he is back to the middle of the pack only because he is a 510 max and we are way above that now.

Many seem to dislike 2x woh Jed Lowrie.
For those that have been using 2x woh Shawn Green, how has his performance been?
Just wondering if theres a 2x woh skill let down or not .

I think that Jed dies a really nice job for me at 5-9. Yesterday he was 5-6 against tommy john. Shawn green is excellent at all levels of WOH. I got ichiro which is rated a little higher so I’m leaving green behind.

540 Ichiro is only better in speed +3  +1 hit and power to Greens 535 max. Will that 1 make the difference?

Maybe not but if you have both and can only take 1 why not choose ichiro?

Of course if you have both Ichrio is the better choice.....I also believe in following the breadcrumb trails left by GLU....Ichrio is the best lhb for WOH in the game right now, as a natural lhb plus the double skills he ranks Muto.  On top of that his later release date and the box inclusion the last two days is the developers way of making a STRONG recommendation to get this player and carry him over.   We will only have this weekend to go and compare what is on offer then but ATM Ichrio is a go.   I called it in another thread;  double WOH skill Lindor switch hitting at 550 will be the weekends best and THE player to have......hope dreams come true becoz by the weekend I’ll have 40k+ to spend with these crazy videos!

That would be awesome if he were in the WOH box on Monday. People would play like crazy all day to try to get him
