I'm out. Sorry, GLU, but this is the end for me. Been fun, but it's just too boring now. Had a good run, and now it's time to clear off my tablet. Goodbye.
It was on Kindle. Some type of update for regions 2 and 3, but no idea what it could be. Even in the latest region it still has nothing new despite being one of the ones updated.
Extinction isn't that great. On many hunts, it says the shot is blocked but there is nothing blocking it (except maybe steam). You can only go on two hunts before needing an upgrade costing upwards of 1000 crystals. It's basically a glorified pistol. The gun in MIB was more impressive.
I think it started to go downhill with the poor research into Meglosaurus. They looked up the dinosaur on Wikipedia and, rather than reading the article, based it on the grossly inaccurate 1850's statue from Crystal Palace Park, which happened to be the first picture in the article.
Back on topic, I would like to suggest making the contract hunts more challenging. Seems mostly I just sit with my weapon and wait for the dinosaur to walk into the sight. Put more species in like with the regular hunts. Bring in the rare animals already. Let us revisit the trophies. I loved the designs, so if not…
I use the gauntlet mostly. Some of the dinosaurs are tougher and the Compy-type ones are in the same map as th raptors now, but other than that it's exactly the same... Maybe I'll revisit some of the older areas just for kicks and blast Region 1 dinos with a region 8 weapon.
Just got to Region 10 and was able to try out Extinction. Maps and dinosaurs are exactly the same as Region 9... As for my trial with Extinction, it takes out a Camarasaurus in two shots. No discount after weapon trial though.
This event was the first time ever I have had to use a Dino decoy. You thought killing one spino with this weapon was hard, just wait until you have to kill two...
Same problem with me. Says I have 7/9 map pieces, can't get the Harvesters missions done and I'm not going to rack up the coins to get the last exotic. Are they requiring this to be bought in order to progress?
I know. I brought this up when I first saw it. I am guessing they knew the name, but when the development team researched it they went straight to Wikipedia and used the first picture they saw for a reference, which was a statue in Crystal Palace Park and built in the mid-1800's. A google search doesn't even have that come…
