I agree with the conversation. I don't have Kershaw, but the last 3 times I have faced him in Legends, have hit him hard and beat him. I have Goldschmidt, offered Adam Jones instead, but don't need him. Goldschmidt= 4,989 AB, .323/.355/.548/.903, 20.1 AB/HR. He hit in the .340's for a long time, but average has been creeping down.

The weekly leader has 519 runs on 1030 hits. I am referring to the runs per hit ratio. The best 5* teams don't have that ratio.

I have had mixed success. Yesterday I tried to have Sale go 7 and he gave up 6 runs in the 7th! I think if you have a good bullpen, use them.

Just this morning my team hit Kluber for 9 runs on 12 hits in 3 innings. Basically throwing batting practice. It would be nice if these 5 star pitchers performed close to real life. sometimes it is just luck. Yesterday I had 2 x #1, 6 x 1st round. Used them all at once. Got nothing but then on the next to last one, got a 5* reliever, Pat Neshek.

As an experiment, I took Matt Moore (3*) SP out of in actives and installed him as "Ace" for a game against the Legends. My normal Ace, Chris Sale, gets hammered by the Legends (and most everyone else.) Sure enough, Matt Moore goes 7 innings, 4 hits, no runs, 8 strikeouts!!! I end up loosing 6-3 as the bullpen gives it up…

I used the 1st round picks till I knew there was very few players left at a position then I switched out to the 300 Gold position pick. I started with 15K gold and used a little more than half.

I actually did draft every Catcher! I used the method described in threads: late round, 2nd round , 1st round using gold. Also used the Post "part of 2.5-5 Star Players List" to see how many were left of the 4.5 - 5 star players. When I knew there were only a few at the position I wanted, I switched to the 300 Gold…

I did pretty much that. Got it to the point where Posey was the only catcher left, so it does work. Same method on shortstop and got Tulo, outfield and got Trout.

Tatimus, You might check to make sure you are still logged in to Facebook. I was having the same problem and discovered it had logged my out. I logged back in and was able to draft.

How would a rotation of Sale, Stasburg, Bumgarner, Fernandez, Price do against the Legends?

Just did this yesterday. Have replaced 75% of roster with mostly 5's. Got to the point though where I can't draft any more picks, just spins. Even can't buy any boosts. Lucky, my last two picks before it started doing this were Tullo and Posey. There were a couple relievers I wanted to keep, but can't load them to swap.

i have got Chapman: 548 innings, 2.68 ERA, 11.9 k/9, WHIP 1.08. Reliable but he does have those innings giving up 3-5 runs like most relievers. Holland is tough. I think a 959 or 919 is harder to hit than a 999 or 889.
