It appears to be random, but might have a correlation to what level you are.
That being said, I have had an MVP team in the same leaderboard as my Legends team, so I dunno.
There seems to be a heavy correlation between the teams in your Sunday dai…
You can be in different daily and weekly leaderboards. I have 3 accounts, each with different people in their daily and weekly leaderboards.
I am second to Xydee-Banana1 on daily, but I am third to BIG DOGS 21 on the weekly (who was on top of my da…
Basically the game is weighted too heavily towards the benefits of any hit at all, so power doesn't have a chance to make a huge difference.
SLG and other stats should be looked at, but the game mechanics make it useless to care about.
We are up to 6 members, including Amused_79!
If you want to join the group but you can't figure out how to work Palringo, post here and see if I can help!
Up to a whopping 3 players :)
I expect this to be slow going, but I am invested in the idea of having a chat room for people to hang out that play the game.
Palringo is a really great app, and really easy to use, and I don't bite! :)
Make sure to hold onto batters with a higher "hit" rating, improve your offensive upgrades (hitting coach is huge), and try playing only against teams that rank weaker than you, in order to build up your confidence. Try different timings, and eventu…
Interesting. I wonder if Glu does indeed weigh the 5* / 4.5* picks more heavily for the #1 draft picks, then. Would be interesting to see some numbers.
Danny Santana seems like the ideal leadoff batter, on paper. 9/3/9 switch hitter. I figure I will use him and put Tulowitzki in the DH position, when I get to the point of picking and choosing.
I would probably choose Altuve anyways, myself. I have…
I don't know exactly how Glu coded the probability into each pick, but if I were to speak from a statistics and probability standpoint, increasing the number of picks is your best bet, rather than the quality.
I tend to stick to trying first round,…
The thing about the leagues is that I don't have a super team yet, so I figure that there will always be at least one better team than myself that will enter, and I will lose out.
If you log out of all teams, you can pay the team that is native to your device. You can later associate it with a gmail account, or a Facebook account if you wish, as long as they don't already have a team associated with them.
I think you will find that your team will play a lot better with higher 'hitting' players, and if you want to succeed against CPU teams you will want high 'stuff' pitchers. That is different for playing against other players, where speed, and pitch …
Which game in the tourney do you tend to lose at?
High "hitting" batters and high "stuff" pitchers are key for success.
I win more than I lose with 7-9 hitters and 7-8 stuff pitchers. I also have all of the offensive upgrades, though, and a couple…
What device are you using? When I hit about 250 inactives on my iPhone 5, I found that the game was incredibly frustrating to play for any prolonged period of time.
The 5-10 seconds I had to wait after every inning was annoying for sure.
It would certainly be a good thing for Glu to check in on them to ensure they attained the gold and cash for those tourneys legitimately.
I have attained similar numbers before, so it is not impossible. Just resource-intensive.
If one is the account native to your device you just need to log in and out of one FB account, which takes no time at all.
Much easier done than shelling out the $$$ for another device.
If you have one team associated with a FB account and one just native to your device then you can easily do this without 2 devices.
I will add that this is all so the least fun way to "master" the game. You don't really learn how to play well.
Blue cash is easy enough to find, so if there is a chance that the game will lag less if 1* players are skipped, I am sure there will be a number of people wanting to go that route.
That being said, if it is only 100 or so players, the lag might en…
The million dollar question that nobody seems to know is how many 1* players are in the game. Once someone figures this out, it will solve questions from at least a half dozen recent threads.
