Danny Duffy is a lefty in real life but in the game he is mistakenly a righty. Also, there is no way he is the top 4 star pitcher in the game. 4 arm makes him easy to hit against humans, and 3 control makes him terrible against the computer. Latos on paper looks pretty darn good. He is a RHP with 5 pitches including 3…
This might not be the EXACT order but it's close. Tim Hudson Ervin Santana Homer Bailey Lance Lynn Jose Quintana Kyle Lohse Hiroki Kuroda Gio Gonzalez Mike Leake Rick Porcello Francisco Liriano Scott Kazmir Jered Weaver Jason Vargas Phil Hughes Jason Hammel Brandon McCarthy Mat Latos Dallas Keuchel Dan Haren Ian Kennedy…
That is Sale's 2-seamer. The cutter has late break in the opposite direction of the 2-seamer. The sinker looks pretty similar to the 2-seamer. The splitter has a really subtle late break on it in downward motion as it crosses the plate, usually resulting in a popup.
RE: Cingrani Someone on here did an extensive study and found that arm rating is directly correlated to K/9, control to BB/9, and stuff to ERA. A lot of the arm ratings don't make sense if you compare it to real life arm strength. Yordano Ventura was the hardest throwing SP last year and his arm rating is only a 5. This is…
I would keep Lucroy and Mesoraco. As you noted Lucroy is hitting .374 for you; there is no reason to take him out of your lineup. I'd keep Mesoraco over Gomes because of his power. Gomes has better contact but the upgrade from 6 to 7 isn't enough to compensate for the drop-off in power.
I second this. I know stats are hard to compare but Jay hit .390+ for me as a starter, albeit with minimal power. The difference between a 6 contact and an 8 contact is huge!
Yadier Molina is a must have. He is one of the best catchers in the game. Ryu is terrible against humans. I consistently knock him around every time I face him.
