"Failed to reach the server for Init"

in Nicki Minaj: The Empire - General Discussion
When ever I open the app I get "Failed to reach the server for Init" and it does not let me play the game. Is the server down or is this just me and if it's just me how do I fix it.

    its not just you its the same with me I was playing an I had to start over and it wont go past 10 % im still waiting, they said that Glu server is down
