Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

lost a load of upgrades & cash :(

So for the past couple days I've been getting this error frequently no matter what I'm doing in the game ...racing, upgrading, chatting, it happens I'd say at least once an hour and often many times in a row:

If the link doesn't work it's the window that says "Your account has been updated! Please restart the game to play.(FR)"
In this case the error came up right after purchasing the stage 2 flywheel upgrade on my supra. I restarted the game & my money was gone but I didn't have the flywheel. No big deal I thought, so I went to purchase it again, and this time when clicking buy nothing happened and my game just sat there. So I clicked buy a few more times. And started spam clicking it, and still nothing happens.
Then I look up and notice every time I clicked purchase I was losing the cost of the flywheel from my funds. I'm not sure exactly how much I lost but I would guess it was close to if not 100k+. And thinking back I think I had this same issue when upgrading my [much more expensive] M3, though I didn't notice it at the time.
edit: I remember now it was the supercharger that I had this issue with on my M3. I was trying to prepare it for turf and ended up buying the supercharger package like 5 or 6 times before it finally started installing. Though I'm not sure if I lost money from that or not.
I know I gotta send in a support ticket I just thought it would be good to post here and see if anyone else has had this issue. Couldn't find the same problem from searching.
Also I should add that error has costed me a fair amount of cash in bet races, not to mention a load of turf points.
