Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Rims for functionality not just looks / paint options

Sorry if this is a repost, couldn't find anything in this section on rims, but I think that with the amount that the rims upgrades cost, they should at least have an effect on our cars performance- primarily weight reduction. As the price increases so should the weight being reduced, and maybe grip should go up a little on certain rims, but for sure at least the weight should go down. There's just not much incentive for me to buy rims if it doesn't make my car do something better. Some of the body kits are ugly but I get them because it shaves a little weight. But for times when I am concerned with looks, I wish that there were paint options for rims, and as for the paint options for bodywork, it would be nice to be able to modify both color tones instead of just one. Anyways, moral of the story: upgraded rims should make the car lighter or have more grip as the diameter changes. Thank you.

To clarify, when I said both color tones in the above statement I was referring to two tone color cars like ford gt or viper gts-r or Rx-7 spec. Am I the only one that wants a different color stripe or a color matched stripe sometimes?

I agree, also when you paint a car if you change it you lose the first colour which isn't fair, it doesn't happen with the rims so it shouldn't happen with the paint
