So, I was able to bug… get it bug.. .nevermind…. the devs and found out what is actually fixed in an upcoming build. I basically listed everything you've reported in this thread ...http://racingrivalsforum.ciegames.co...bugs-bugs-bugs
... and they replied that most of what you reported to me in that thread is fixed. Now... please bear in mind that these fixes are tested, but not on a grand scale. We have a handfull of QA reps, and most everyone in the office participates in daily build testing but that does not equal millions of players doing things. So these are all fixed, as far as we know in what testing we've done in the next build...
- Timer counting down to 0 with no race
- Freezing after betting cycle
- Freezing during races
- Unable to Join Room instead of getting Banned Messaging
- Full Friends List causing Issues
- Nos button not working
- Launch button not working
- Shift button not working
- Not being able to join a race lobby
- Cash not updating after a Chicken Out
- Orange Bar of Death
- Lights and sound out of sync
- Car Ratings not updating
Here are some notes on other issues:
Purchases not loading - For an issue we found on our end, is fixed. Can still happen due to other issues we have no control over.
Unable to load – This is really a case by case basis, but some of the way loading works should alleviate this
Game freezing on “Resolving Races” – Load times have been reduced so hopefully fixed
iPhone 4 issues – for the most part we’ve changed things so that it should run better so gonna say fixed… mostly.
Crossing finish line first – Opponent shows a 0.0 time and you lose – This has to do with connectivity, we’ve “fixed” issues caused by us, but can still happen.
Payouts from offers – Ive been told that they've checked this and nothing on our end is causing this, so it’s all on Fyber.
Parts not installing – Is a desyncing issue which relates to connectivity in which if it is on our end, should be fixed for the most part barring any issues that may arise during normal operations.
Best ETs not showing correctly - we believe is fixed still getting confirmation.
-12, -3 , -504 “Unable to complete action” for the most part are fixed however will always exist in some form
Please note that there will always be connection issues. You will still get DNFs if you disconnect and there will always be people trying to hack this game (there are more hackers out there than programmers in here) and we’ll keep fighting them and making sure our servers are up and running.
Also, this does not mean these bugs are eradicated from the game completely, some of these can still happen but the occurrences should be greatly decreased.
When we finally release the update (soon...ish) we will also post the patch notes which will hopefully have a more comprehensive list of what bugs were fixed. The list I posted here is made up of bugs you guys reported to me.
