I have been thinking of a trade system for a while, and I feel that the game really needs a safe way to trade! Too many scammers out there trying to get cars the cheap way and it just makes the game not much fun when trying to land a deal on that car you've been wanting for a long time! And of course, there are a handful of trustworthy people that will complete a trade the right way and go about their day, but most of the time there's a very slim chance that your trade will go through without any problems.
So, I've thought of some ideas and different types of verification, in order to create a safe healthy trading system. Here goes nothing!
First of all, a good trade system will have a verification system. I've played other games which I won't mention that have very good trade systems, in which some of my ideas have stemmed from.
A 2-step verification system needs to be in place.
Users, when wanting to trade, could be brought to an interface in which they will choose from a list of cars. Obviously when trading with someone, words are exchanged and a deal is made. My proposition is that each player select the vehicle they currently have and are willing to trade for the other players' vehicle. Once you've locked in the car you are willing to trade, each player will then confirm that the car the other player has selected is in fact correct, and the deal is legitimate. This step will be complete when both players have checked and vouched that the vehicle being traded is the one they are looking for. (for example, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII in comparison to Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII RE) Players will need to be very careful and attentive to the vehicles being traded because it could easily go wrong if not choosing the correct vehicle on the list!
Once both vehicles are selected by the player initiating trade with, Step 1 is complete.
Step 2 is there to have added comfort, cause who doesn't want to verify that the trade they're about to make is LEGIT?!
There isn't much to it, just one last check over by both players that both vehicles are correct as listed. There could maybe be a check-mark box that lights up with a green check once each step is completed and verified.
Vehicle Additions
Now, this is just a small list I'm going to compile of vehicles I believe should be in the game. And no, there will be nothing overly stupid or over the top such as mario kart go karts (Saw this in a thread and literally thought WTF, this is a vehicle racing game not an arcade game from the 80s, lets move on to new times!)
So here goes my list in order of each make of vehicle. If there are no vehicles I feel should be added for a certain maker, I will not list the maker.
Chevy:
AWD Silverado SS
FWD Monte Carlo SS
RWD Camaro of some sort, say from '97 up to '00 range? (insert feedback, wasnt quite certain on this one)
Dodge:
RWD Ram SRT10
Honda:
FWD '97 Prelude
FWD ('00?) Odyssey - yes I'll get some hate for this, but its realistic as people build Odyssey sleepers all over the world.
Mitsubishi:
AWD '99 3000GT VR4
AWD '99 Eclipse GSX (yes I know the GS-T is implemented already, but why that and not the GSX?!)
Plymouth:
RWD 70's Fury
RWD Road Runner
>> Pontiac: <<
Where is Pontiac to begin with?!
RWD '00 Trans Am
FWD '00 Grand Prix GTP (supercharged for those who don't know)
Subaru:
AWD '03-'05 Forester STI (Cause who doesn't love Fozzy wagons???)
This completes my list, and I don't think any of these cars would be extremely difficult or stupid to put into the game. It needs more trucks, SUV's, along with a larger range of cars per make, in my opinion! So this is what I've came up with.
This being my first post I'm sure everyone thinks I'm a noob lol and I'm all for constructive criticism. Hopefully this sparks a debate and some of these, if not all get implemented into the game at some point along the way. I'm sure there will be things I've missed or things that could be touched up to be more efficient or whatever, so leave your comments!
Looking forward to seeing what you all have to say. Peace!
