Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I'm back!

You'll be playing with a player base of about 14 people. The games been rendered unplayable for most people since the update. Most people have also given up and found a new game. I may do so soon. Anyhow, if your device is capable of playing (I have a galaxy tab s2 and it's not even worthy) and you don't mind playing by yourself then more power to you. Nothing has really changed for the better. Just a few things rearranged and a global chat. Enjoy.

Glu (sorta stupid company btw) took over cie, released this mess called 6.0 without beta, matte paints, wheels, graphics, etc awful and horrible, as Psalm stated it was made unplayable on older gen devices, they released 6.2 to fix it. Still the game sorta looks like a mess.
    Also were crates around before?

Before turf wars, that may be 2+. Basically in most aspects, it's a different game except for the basics. Not sure if turf/showdown lobbies match up with multiplayer and that makes tuning a challenge. A ton of new cars and three whole new categories of cars introduced, x, r2 and r3. Been a bumpy ride as described above and other earlier update debacles but hopefully things will settle for a while. Unlike the above comments, still plenty of folks racing.

Umm, GLU took over CIE and it's still the same DEVS. They did some changes and had 3 major overhauls with the most previous one ruining the game in just about every way possible. And a chunk of the fanbase has left the game and from the looks of it, this game is on the last legs

And as for hacks, it's been off and on. Most times they get patched just to be broke through again. And scamming is at an all time high especially with this new global chat feature that nobody but scammers and pedophiles really want in the game. They say that there will be an update adjusting almost all problens with the game but as far as I can see any update from this studio is either gonna be really solid or absolutely terrible.
P.S We have cars running 6.4 and lower and a Rami is kinda slow in comparison
