Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.
Always device when there's an issue.
Why is it always the devices fault whenever there is an issue with this game?? Whether it's lag, no race loss or anything else?? Why is it never a prob with the game? I mean my device is less than yr old. Runs csr2 without lag or anything. I can stream HD movies with no buffering. But this game is unplayable since the 6.0 came out. But every answer I've gotten is its your device, it's your internet connection.. it just seems like the program used to make the new graphics and stuff, only work with the newest most expensive device out. Like y'all only tested the update on iPhones and galaxies. Game ran like a champ before 6.0....just wondering....

However, even now - if I run the game with enhanced graphics on, I see framedrops and glitches rather frequently. I'm running an IPhone 6s+ (128 gig model with 93 gig of memory free). I've noticed, though, that if I turn the enhanced graphics off, the game runs smoother (as one would expect), and the cars look better. Granted, the "look" of the game is subjective to the player - but when I turn the enhanced graphics off...a matte black car actually looks matte black....instead of a shiney gray when the enhanced graphics are on.
I'm curious to see what Carbonated does about it once they get up to speed on everything, if they do anything at all in that regard.
