Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Lets share our model cars!

@CircusOfSins nice collection mate! Love the diorama stuff you are doing! Where i live we call the type of stuff you are doing プラモデル (프라모데루 in korea) which are plastic model kits you can build and paint to make it look exactly how you want it.
Me being a unskilled mechanic, i prefer collecting die-cast cars and tomicas/hot wheels

It's been a hobby of mine for quite some time...unfortunately most of what I have posted in my photo bucket were lost when our house burnt down just before Christmas... Time to rebuild

I'm currently working on a "Downed Zero" that will become part of a display for a fish tank...I'll post progress pix as soon as I actually make some progress...it's gonna be quite a project to make it look likes it's been on the ocean bottom for 75 years but it's a challenge I gladly accept :)

Do you have Doyusha kits available there ? I'm almost certain that's where they originated...could be wrong tho I guess...they were pretty popular in the late 60s and early 70s...they were ahead of their time in detail and realism and I'd love to find some of the vintage kits

Also check out the website for Scale Auto Magazine...it's a great place to find ideas and solutions to problems that may arise in your builds...it's an open forum full of very skilled builders...you might enjoy it :)

@CircusOfSins ouch... sorry to hear that all your hard work burned down

By zero you mean the Am6 zero right? Im not into planes all that much but i heard it was one of the best aircraft mounted planes of ww2 hope the results come out exactly how you want it! It'll be cool to see some shellfishes growing out of the exhaust and stuff...

@CircusOfSins i wouldn't know even if they were sold as im not a huge plastic model fan. Only brands i know of consist of tamiya, finemolds, dragon and trumpeter

And btw im in korea right now because dads company moved our family here

And sure, i'd like to check that site out. I hope it'll help me weather the type 3 chi-nu

It's 1:32 scale so the details will have to be precise...I'll be painting rivets on the fuselage with the the tip of a toothpick... It has to be perfect or I'll end up throwing it away and starting over

Tamiya makes fantastic military kits...they also have a line of "tuners" too...a bit spendy but definitely nice kits...the tooling is great on them...they apparently take very good care of their moulds

I did that with my tiger ausf b on the bolts on the turret, one got messed up and i tried erasing it with some brake cleaners but it left a mark looking like the turret was hit by a non penetrating shot so i ran with it

    @CircusOfSins
Tamiya is renoun for being very precise and not requiring much alteration in connecting the parts.
Whether its historically accurate, is another matter

I would love to have this Audi RS5 Coupe. I like the stunning red color and its outside appearance. It looks awesome! It reminds me about a Porsche Model here.
