Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

We cant keep feeding you POS game with your no launch and no shift bugs. Ive lost 10.... thats right 10 F*&ing gem cars today nismos and ramis. RYYST what the hell is going on. ALL DAY long NO DAM LAUNCH. This is beyond the point of ridiculous. You people obviously take us for a bunch of push overs and have NO RESPECT for your customers. Ill be filing a formal complaint with apple and i encourage EVERYONE to do the same.

    Lets see what "compensation" will be offered. I bet it will be NOTHING, just as how you people have continuously screwed us , i don't expect it to stop.

    Funny thing is that everybody knows the issues yet you still continue to pinkslip at your own risk. I myself have lost cars due to some issues but since its been a month you know the issues so either stop or stop begging for compensation when things go wrong. Send in a ticket and wait for your reply just like everybody else does.

    One statement for you is that you're IGNORANT. Whats the point of playing a game if not to use all its options. We the players aren't supposed to "AVOID" certain parts of the game because it doesn't work. Its the responsibility of the institution providing a SERVICE to make sure that its done properly. Turf wars if based on pink slipping you idiot. Thats the best way to get points. You're basically telling everyone to use 50% of a service that collects 100% of our money. Get REAL and find another game if you don't like what I'm saying.

    I've stated on many occasions that we are aware of the issue and it is slated to be fixed in the next update. That means that it will not be fixed until then. Take that information as you will.

    The solution is simple. People should stop spending on a game with so many issues. When that happens maybe CIE will get of there buts and actually fix the game. With people spending big amounts of money for turfs there is no need for them to do anything

    Guys, unfortunately the solution at this time is to stop spending money and stop running pinks until the issue is fixed. I know that sucks to say because many people love to run pinks. Just remember the infamous words of a CIE admin, "race at your own risk." Despite these issues, some people are still literally buying hundreds of dollars worth of gems. As long as people keep doing this, CIE/Glu will be in no hurry to fix all these bugs. If everyone agreed to STOP spending money right now, I guarantee you that these issues would miraculously get fixed much faster. I lost a R35 and $100k rr cash 2 turfs ago due to the launch button sticking and I haven't pinked since then. It's really the only solution right now. If you continue to pink, you know you might lose your car to a bug/glitch.

    True, stop turfing that's it!! Since all they want is money stop spending it with them Duhh!! We all see Cie/glu aren't following no guidelines here and are taking it today by today. The common sense thing is for Cie to stop turf wars completely and fix issues and you wouldn't have a Mob of angry customers! BUT COMMON SENSE NOT THE NORM AT GLU/CIE STUDIOS

    Well, you don't have to stop turfing, just stop spending money. I scored 59.3k points last turf and I didn't use one single gem. I spent $0 and still scored a bunch of points and got a turf car. So it's possible to hit them where it hurts, the wallet, and still race and be successful doing it.
