Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Marcos603 and Gr3ddy will be hosting a Lancer Evolution 8 tournament. The tournament will consist of numerous players throughout Racing Rivals. Players are to build a Lancer Evolution to its maximum capabilities.
Tournament will be help in the coming week. Players MUST pay $150,000 in order to have their place in the tournament locked in one day prior to the tournament. (Which will be announced at a later date.) We will be closing the tournament after a specific amount of racers, so get your spots reserved. (To Be Determined)
Rules are as followed:
All parts ARE allowed, including carbon fiber.
Absolutely NO boost will be allowed.
Both players must take screen shots of the results, including reaction time.
**Players who do not send screen shots, will automatically be disqualified.**
We are doing this to ensure, no one uses boost.
There will be NO re-do’s unless, player a DQ’s
** If a player gets DQ they will be allowed ONE redo. If a player DQ’s again, it counts as a loss for that particular race **
Fouls count as a loss**

The tournament will consist of (to be determined) amount of racers. The numbers of players has to be even, so everyone has someone to race. Players will be racing best out of three. Which means the person who wins 2 out of the 3 races will advance to the next round. The tournament will be a few days long, so it gives racers time to tweak and make repairs if needed.
