Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

After first starting the game, I made the mistake of racing for a pink when I only had 2 cars. That was my mistake and I own it because I lost my c class car. Unfortunately for a week I was not able to buy a d class Honda civic for $18k because the able had a big which said insufficent gems. After that was fixed after a week and a half, when I was able to buy the civic, so then took the 18k and approx. 75 gems. At which point I was about to quot the game, I've posted these issues in the android bug section. The only response ever heard was, we're looking into that. And that was for not being able to buy the civic. Now. ... I've been able to build up to 3 cars, but them lost 2 c class cars in pink slip races to freezing. So either way I'm not impressed with this game, had I spent any money in this game is be pissed, but I'm chalking this adventure up to inexperienced administrators and moderators lacking customer service. Maybe CIE games will get their act together some day and not just be a money sucking sponge like other freemium games. If you'd like to keep me as a customer, my RR tag is Gunn3rX. Feel free to compensate for supervisory incompetence. GunnerX

I totally agree that if I race for pinks and my car is slower that I should lose my car. ... that would completely be my fault I would have nothing to complain about. I know it's just a game, I just feel slighted when I'm racing for pinks and the game freezes and closes with no message and when I return to the game it shows my car gone.

On top of what is said above me.... iOS devices like the iphone, iPad etc didnt have issues like this that they can just copy paste fixes for. When a new bug pops up, they need a new fix. Lemme put it this way...the reason iOS is less buggy in regards like this is because the software is controlled by the same company making the phones. When it comes to android.... There's hundreds of devices. On top of that, there's hundreds more custom android rom versions. That being said, this issue may happen on your device specifically, but not any other devices. To be completely honest, fixing a bug that only happens on maybe one or two devices could cause an issue on 10 or 20 others because of all the different versions and devices
