Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

A few of my ideas

Hello all.

WellI'm fairly new to this game but from what I've played, these are the Sissonsi would make.

1: My first Sigston had to be sound. I know woukd files are the boat reason why games are so huge, but I'd rather havea bigger game download than have generic sounding cars.the rotary cars do not sound like rotary. All the v8's sound exactly , even the civic sounds nothing like a civic. Biggest disappointment would have to be how the Subaru with a boxer motor sounds like a flat four. So work on game sounds would be awesome.

2: Ability to choose which track you would like to join.having to join random tracks are not always what we want. This can be extended to each team having a track they can customise to their liking. Day or night, various options in baners, small things like that. Different back drops. maybe , desert, snow, City, drag strip etc.

3: Gauges. This is something that I find extremely important in car game. When all the Gauges are basic, not replicas of what the car truly are, I am extremely disappointed. Companies spend alot of time designing their Gauges for each car. So if you guys would do that, it would be a huge improvement.

4: Tyre warm up. I don't think a drag race is a drag race without that first start where tyres are warmed up, bellowing smoke every where. Now I would assume that you guys have played need for speed pro Street. Remember that tyre warm up? Believe me, we would love that.

5: Long term build. I don't think this would be implemented but having the option to build a car from scratch would be epic. Choose body, motor, gearbox etc, epic add I said.

Well that's all from me for now. Of all my suggestions, if I had to pick two, the Gauges and car sounds are the most important to me.

Anyways, thanks for reading.

    1. Yeah the sound has been mentioned many times even by me. 2. I think new tracks are coming soon, but I'm not to sure, I just read somewhere else. 3. I agree with a more detailed realistic gauge for each car, but this would be further in the future. 4. I played pro street, tire warm up is ok, but should be for the future. But we can't expect too much out of a portable device, or the developers, it's real difficult to add these things and keep them running smoothly on a portable device such as a phone, or tablet. 5. You're right, it would be nice but this is more of a race game than a tycoon or designer game. Uhh...who knows right?
