Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

What should you/ i get?

Hey mc, Roes is correct. It is the fastest R class within the 3. Rx-7 GT Spec - 7.1 - 7.3, GTS-R - 7.2 - 7.5, and from what when i owned the Fr-s R Spec, I could only hit 7.5's with boost. But that was probably because i was a noob at the time :p (The times I stated are with mechanical boost)

Too late to replay but UR choice is good ;) .. I agreed with what the guys said .. RX7 is the fastest one ;) .. However it's not the easiest car to drive among all 3 cars .. To me the easiest one is the GTS-R ;) .. But I can say both of them R a good .. Just forget about the FRS-R :P

So from my experience... Rx7 is the fastest but cost a lot to upgrade. However the gts-r like venom said is the easiest and upgrading prices are cheaper. Last but not least the frs-r it is a cheap upgrade doesn't go very fast compared to the others but... As you can see it is always the underdog and no many people who use them so they are underestimated and use them for pinking cause of that reason. Pick your races right and it's a great pink car to race with.

I like the viper, because it is easy to drive, gives more shift money than rx7,and if you are in a pinch can be resold back to showroom for $225k, where as rx7 and frs specs resale to showroom for $175k each. That extra gear adds up little by little to a lot in the end when you farm coins, plus with perfect launches, you get quite a bit. Also a couple of different no damage setups you can do. Haven't really tried no damage setup with rx7 or the frs, but I'm sure you can do it with them too, just not sure how many setups you can run on each. Good luck with your choice whichever you choose if you haven't already :)
