Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I Phone 4 issues, Anyone else??????

Jeffrey HaenJeffrey Haen Registered Users 7 Posts
Does anyone else have the app completely close out to your phones dashboard while game chatting or racing?? Mine has done it a lot since the update, and I brushed it off till today when it cost me my S-Class viper. Was winning, game lagged and closed to dashboard. Came back into app to see my Viper gone. I am afraid to race for pinks now or even money. Does anyone else have this issue, or has this issue and found a solution to it. I am heartbroken about my Viper, but I need to see if I can get this fixed so I don't loose any more cars.

if you have an apple device with an A5 chip or lower, the game will run like garbage! Hence..any iPods, iPad 3 and lower, iPhone 4S and lower...game will not run optimal.. Just me 2 cents

The 4/4s is 2-3 models old. Phones today are like computers. Gotta keep upgrading or you'll have problems with games (not just racing rivals)

The sad part is most all of us started playing this game with iphone 4 and 4s and put hundreds of dollars into it. The cie decides to upgrade the game so the devices that worked fine and got the game making tons of money no longer will play the game. And all you and ice can say is looks like you need to upgrade. Why should we have to.

Phyah77 I can understand upgrading for bigger and better games but with a game that started off awesome and running perfect on older devices n not to mention The money people put into the game with older devices. No longer use them. Don't you get our point. That update should never have happened

Unfortunately this is the way of this industry. We will continue to update this game, and add features to utilize new tech. While we try and keep the game accessible to many devices, there is a point where older devices may not run the game as well as it did before. We are making some more adjustments to help alleviate some of the hardware limitations of older devices, but they will never run optimally. Unfortunately the iPhone 4 is technically 4 generations behind now. (4s > 5 > 5s > 6)

it would be nice being able to turn off some features, or lower graph quality so we still can play on those old devices...
