Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Mitsu Evo VIII Tune Help...

Hi everyone, I've been using DJChris' Evo VIII tune. My Evo is almost identical to it minus some of the aero kit parts and two Pro parts. But for some reason, I still average a 9.9 time. DjChris' time is roughly 8.6 with boost. What am I doing wrong? I highly doubt not having some of the aero parts and two pro parta will make me have a 1.2+ second difference between his car. Also, how should I launch the Evo? I have a little trouble with it.

I haven't been playing long but I have figured out it's not just the tune that will give fast times. The launch and shift points are equally, maybe even more important than the right tune. To me, you answered your own question about sub-par times when you said you have a little trouble with the launch. I don't know the evo VIII shift or launch info but I'm pretty sure if you search the forums, you'll find it.

That's the thing. He said to have perfect shifts-- which I do. I'm just not sure on the launch, but a 1.2+ second difference is just too much.

Did you upgrade your drivetrain and suspension/weight reduction? Make sure they all have been upgraded to Pro Stage 3. Also make sure that your nitrous is on 120 shot (Stage 3) I remember awhile back my Ford GT-R wasn't quite running as fast as I thought and then I realized it was only a 75 shot of NOS. Those extra lbs of weight saved and added horsepower do make a difference especially for the lower the car class ratings.

My evo8 seems to top out before the race ends. I've seen an evo8 run right at 9 sec and I can't get mine under 9.2. I know my tune is off because everything else seems to be there. Can someone help me understand why I hit max speed and still have around 1-2 sec left in the race? Thanks, I can tip for a tune that helps.

Do the aero kit parts really help the car go (noticeably) faster?

On my Evo 8, I'm running a high 8.9 non boosted and on my spec Evo 8 I'm running a 9.0-9.1 non boosted. I feel like the spec pieces are slowing me down for some reason

Evo 8's top out at 139mph. You'll hit the limit and click to the racing line. I've got my car tuned to 1662 and have a best time of 8.7. I'll be putting up the build this week.
