Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

So after the forums were hacked I was unable to log into my account opopops, therefore, I got pissed and gave up the "I'll be on the forums" promise I had made oh so long ago. Well, I'm bored and there's nothing much to do, so I ask, would I be able to find the part of the community that was here before the forums got hacked e.g. beetlejuice? Has everyone else quit the game too?

    Just to give a bit of insight as to who I am, I'm a supporter of cie, and I've tried out all their games. I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to play this game, note that back then, it was called fueled racing. Now, fueled racing was a wonderful game; no one hacked it. Why? I can only assume it was because the game was only open to those in Canada and Russia. Back then, through slips, I managed to own at least one of each car, yay me, huh? Back on topic, racing rivals was released about two months after fueled racing's debut and I was stoked. This time, it's open to the world and I can slip noobs. However, this sudden increase in customers meant the higher possibility of a hacking community to arrive, and so it did. 2 days after the release of RR, a money hack came out, shortly followed by a weight hack, which I have lost many cars to. In the end, my 87 car collection fell to 67 and in my mind, there wasn't a doubt. Quitting time. Anyways, thank you to the community with whom I had such a good time with. I guess I'll be on and off this game and forums due to my favouritism towards Nitto 1320 legends. opopops is now empty, probably never to be used again, however, if goodh4m is ever unbanned, I shall return. It's just that these hackers, damn it. Ruined the game, and from personal experience, I know all about cie's inability to offer a proper fix to hacks.

    Beetlejuice comes on every now and then but only in a great while haha. I was one of the few who stayed I wasnt playing fueled racing but I came a little after racing rivals came out. So with that being said unless they have changed their names on here. Beetlejuice is about the only one that comes on anymore as for the rest their old profiles never come up so I think they have quit. He is still on in rru and rrm though!

    I was here before the site was hacked, I was actually the first post when the site came back.. I didn't know about fueled racing, but I was here before the site went down.

    I had recently heard about fueled racing which is RR in the old shape .. Haven't played that game as U refer it wasn't open for the world earlier .. But I was one of the first players who download this game :P .. Can't really compare RR to fueled racing as I said I didn't play it but am assuming it was an amazing game from what I heard about it .. Am still believe in CIE that they can do better in hackers case that why am still here :P .. Anyway .. Welcome back old soldier ;) .. As they always says .. Old soldier never dies lol
