Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

1649 and 1650 room rating

I have 2 Scion FR-S with different ratings (1649 and 1650). All of the cars i encounter run low 9s to mid 9s and I hardly see any class C cars. Most of the cars are class B and up. Is there something wrong with the room ratings? All I see are mclarens, vipers, evo x, gtrs, and even r spec cars. What's up with that?

I'm having the same problem. Did well racing R/Ts rated 1658 at 9.3-ish for months. Now every track I get put in is Furai GTX and specs running low to mid 8s. What has changed in the past 2 weeks? I didn't change my cars. Went from winning 75% to now the only wins are if my opponent fouls.

Since the last update the ratings on everyone's cars are either slightly off or way off- which most of everyone is aware of. I have a maxed viper R that reports a 1662 rating. This is way off. If I do not do the work around to get my correct points rating to show up and tap the race button, it sticks me in a room with cars that are rated much lower than my actual points rating, mainly s class cars and a few r class. I'm assuming they are all around 166x points because they all ran mid 8's. Yet, I still ran times that would reflect my max point rating. I went back to garage, did the workaround, went back to race, and then it put me in a room with only R class cars , R class gem cars, and maybe one or two s class cars. I have noticed a lot of mismatches lately and I can't really get a good race out of any of my cars that aren't in s or r class, which is over half of my cars. I'm fairly certain the points rating glitch has a part to do with this, as I've experienced it first hand and it definitely gave me an unfair advantage with cars that had ratings that were way off. I hope it gets fixed because I'm tired of getting only four races out of my cars then having to repair them for the next 20 hours.
