Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

When you paint a car if you change it you lose the first colour, then you have to pay for it again. It doesn't happen with the rims so it shouldn't happen with the paint.

I've suggested this as well.. Some cars I have have gem paint, but I would like to change it and still have the gem paint if I want to go back, but you lose it.

Almost found this out the hard way, but I came across one of your posts recently about losing gem paint. Thanks for the heads up, losing gem green paint = not a good day for me. As much as I hate to admit it tho, it kind of makes sense that the paint is lost once it's changed, because it's not like an actual part that can be removed or refitted- but, that's not to say I agree with or like it because I too think that at the very least, anything purchased with gems as far as paint goes, should remain unlocked, and perhaps any regular colors should get at the very least 3-5 applications before they must be repurchased, kind of like boosts. If they won't go so far as letting us have the paints permanently, it would be nice to have quantities of the paint for each purchase. It's like once you buy the expensive paint, you're stuck with it because you don't want to downgrade colors or feel like you wasted money on the paint when you feel like changing it. So yea, ideally, we'd like paints to stay unlocked like rims and parts do, but if that isn't going to happen then please give us a couple applications for each paint. Thanks
