Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Fox the only thing you can do to avoid the registration fee would be to buy an R class car from the showroom, which unfortunately will still cost gems as well. The best thing to do is just wait till the mclaren R class car goes on sale then scoop it up for 875 gems. So it might actually be cheaper in the long run to pay the registration fee, but if you're going to just give the car back to whoever lends it, you might as well buy a car that you can keep since you have to shovel out gems anyways. There's always the option of starting fresh tho. Good luck, sorry for your losses, it has happened to me as well.

I'd tell you what i would do in this situation. Campaign can be completed under 48 hours. Its not a very long process. If i were you, i would make a new gamecenter account and begin a new campaign on a new account. Then when you do complete the campaign, you can transfer all the cars on your previous account. Would probably be the best idea, GL

Haha. But I don't want to start new one. I got my favorite rides, my nick name, Rep and level (52). I think I would just continue playing. Then maybe buy 20$ pack for some cars and that's it!
And the idea with new GC is good. I would concern it. Thanks bro.

When you think about it, all it does when you complete campaign, is award you 100k and unlock BMW gt2 and Stella into cash cars. That 100k is only 3 or 4 upgrades on an R class. It surely wont be enough to buy a new car. Btw I haven't completed R class either and I'm over level 100. I probably never will finish it either. And I still have my campaign car. So, it's not the end of the world if you don't complete it. But if it's bugging you enough, it's pretty much boiled down to two options, start fresh with new GC, or cough up some gems for a new campaign car whether it's by registering a pink slipped car, or buying one from showroom. Take care

100k never hurts but there is one big benefit from not finishing, which I'm sure you can think of. But then again, you need your campaign car

keep earning perfect shift rewards without losing your street credits to other racers (if lost), in offline mode.

if your car has sixth gear, that is 125 x 5 = 625 + 150 (perfect launch) each race....... it is tedious to me so i dont practice it, i got much better way to earn money :)

Yes, so the only benefit of not finishing has been mentioned. It is tedious yes, but if you don't have any other means of getting cash... Well, this is the best way to farm coins without hurting yourself lol.
