Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Nexus 7 Tablet Bug

I started playing the game on my Nexus 7 tablet (running Android 4.4.4). Everything was fine I was able to use all game modes and had progressed through the campaign to the "S Tournament". Now whenever I do anything in game at all(win a race, mod a car, buy a car) the game will lag out crash and once reloaded everything will be gone. I have tried to reset everything even my modem(I play on WiFi). Nothing worked. I made an account on my phone and was able to SLOWLY(the game continued to crash after every race) transfer all my cars so I would not lose them. I then uninstalled the game and reset starting fresh. Still have the same problem. It took me a few tries for the tutorial to not come up after every reset. I was finally able to set a name and now am no longer able to progress.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I play this on my Nexus 7 and Nexus 7 2013 without issue. I also play it on my Sony Xperia Z.

I guess you've restarted your Nexus 7? Uninstalling should have removed all the cache, so clearing that shouldn't help. How much storage space does your device have left?

Fixed. I have been running AdBlock Plus ever since I got the tablet. It recently had an update. That update has been causing all my issues. I uninstalled AdBlock and re-installed Racing Rivals and all is back to normal.

Thanks and hope this may help anyone else.
