Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I'm sorry but...

I'm sorry, but glu are ignorant and their prices are extortionate, we should do something to show how annoyed we are. You can't lie and say that RR is perfect. It's not. It's far from it. It's buggy and full of hackers and scammers, but do glu/cie care? No of course not, they care for the green stuff in their pockets.
They ignore our pleas of what we want in the game, and when something goes wrong, they ask us to submit a ticket... On which they don't respond on. We wanted easy and scam proof trading, instead we are given a buggy game, full of hackers where everyone over 40 mill RRC lost their money, I know one guy (loose change) had over 800 million and was gutted to find his money gone. And how hard is it to implement a trading feature like an auction house? Or will that make you lose money cie/glu?

Also, £70 ($100 ish) for 1 mill RRC is horrendous when people sell them for like £10-12 ($12-15)
Also the gem packages are stupid, 5200 gems for £70, which gets you 2 furais and a couple of decent cars fair enough. But £70 for a couple of virtual cars? Seems a little steep IMO
Another point being repair times, it's ridiculous how you can only get 4-5 maybe 6 races out of a maxed car and have to wait like 16 hours to race it again for a service. No wonder people quit the game, they have to spend gems or watch videos (that's another point) to reduce these times, and the gem packages are pretty bad as it is.
And videos are sketchy at times and rarely work so Instead if watching a lot of videos and being on your merry way to the drag strip, your there grimacing about reaching into you bank account and pressing accept. Ugh, just make the game fairer, cheaper, and more customer friendly

PEOPLE WHO AGREE, boycott (to not use or play) up till we get what we want, we stop their income they might actually listen to us, and stop pussyfooting (no cuss) around the situation by bringing out the amazingly crap M6 and B class turf cars smh.

So please here me out, fellow gamers, screw this game, find another less extortionate game and enjoy it more... Not towards rr3 cus that's just as bad... Glu are the next EA, just you watch

Not trying to cause trouble, just trying to open your eyes glu/cie

Well that's why we need to boycott the game, if we put no effort in this then, cie/glu will carry on, spread the word, persuade the top 100 teams and cie/glu (CGlu?) will come crying and answer our pleas

Very well said, unfortunately I don't think anything will change, top teams spend way too much money, crazy amounts, to buy gems. (Baffles me way some players need to boost every race!!)
So if they stopped, glu would just pull the plug and move onto the next game they already have in the pipeline, and then the next and so on, until we are all fleeced dry!!

Well this is exactly what we used to say since the launch of Racing Rivals .. We had tried to make changes no not just trying we work to make changes but did they care .. Of course NOT .. A resent example .. One of the Admin seek a feedback from players about Turf prizes .. Most of the players agrees that C class cars should've host a 4 days events .. Coz it's not worthy all gems and cash spend for almost 9s cars .. What they did .. They launch the skyline R32 and 77 firebird events .. Both were C class cars .. We ask for secure trading system and we got terms and condition makes it forbidden .. We ask for better servers with less glitches and errors we get new glitches and errors that we haven't faced before .. As U said all what they care about is money .. Now when it come to Glu .. If U checked all other games they lunched it's way far from fair prices .. I can tell U Bro keeping the current prices might be unfair but complaining about will make it worse .. (Note that it's not the first time someone complain about prices) last advice .. Save UR breath .. They will never change or care about their loyal customer
