Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Crate Wheels and Paints

I bought a bunch of crate bundles to get all the special blueprint cars. I found that after you buy 2 or 3 of each crate bundle, it stops dispensing paint and wheels. Since they are a 1 time use, can we put more in there please?? Or maybe wheel blueprints where you can unlock that style to purchase then for your cars?

Just a suggestion.

    You never actually said if you completed the blue print, I am curious do you just need like 7 of any print, or do they each have a spacific number. Like can you wind up with 10 part 2 and open a billion more looking for that super rare part 4. just as an example?

    There is no blueprints for wheels, just the cars. I have claimed several cars. Im saying that the wheels run out when you purchase crates and there should be an option to unlock them and put them on any car you want, not just 1 car only. That or put more wheels in the crates! I dont need 50 mustang gt's lol...

    if you go to the shipyard and look right above the blueprint details there should be a glowing wheel, above that it says free with next purchase or free with 7 purchases or whatever. that's how you get them. Its just like an incentive, you get a free glowing wheel when you buy a ton (I think its either every 7 or every 9) of crates. I have 9 wheels lol, I spent allllllllllllllooooooooot on crates though. 3 blue (turquoise glowing lip, one glowing spokes, and one whole wheel glowin) 4 purple (2glowing lip and 2 glowing spokes) and one with a green glowing lip. and one really dark green/black. if you give me a car you want em on, I can sell them to you. they wont be cheap though..

    You are missing what Im saying. Ive bought numerous crate bundles. The glowing wheel that you are talking about under the bundle price disappears after you purchase a few of each. Then the bundles include blueprints, boosts, and if its the bronze crate bundle.... more crappy 510's then you know what to do with lol..

    That's the point of this thread, to bring to light that the wheels are very limited supply and it was a major part of why i was buying $50 packs of gems to buy bundles. Until something is done about this I won't be wasting more gems.

    actually I just looked and realized that only my bronze crates have wheels left.. gold and silver are gone because I bought them all I guess. but I think that's the point of these wheels, to be super rare. look at first place turf cars like the Subaru wrc and Subaru sport, these wheels almost look like those wheels, so they are definitely going to be rare and valuable

    If I would've known they run out of supply in the crates I would've only put them on certain cars to raise the value. Since they can't be swapped between cars, Im kinda stuck with them on there now lol.
