Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Has my info here been sold?

Today I got an email addressed to FUGYEA. Since this is the only place I use that name, I'm curious if CIE sells our information.

did you write it anywhere in the forum? Some "robots" look for email adresses on the net. You should only give it in private messages...

If you want to know read the TOS. If they want to sell your information legally it will say so in there.

CIE... Legally? Those two words don't belong together.

CIE are the shiftiest company there is, I'm glad I never gave them my full name. They only know me as James G, James Gee, or Mike Hunt.

Did you do a "free gem" survey? My guess is that's what would have done it.

That isn't my surname either, it's sort of a nickname growing up. Like how Fonzie is short of Fonzerelli.

I did do a free gem survey, but fugyea is not even part of my email address. And, the free gem thing seems to be just another scam. I only got gems once

When you do a third party survey, you sign up to that third party site, and that third party site sells your information to other sites, and those other sites resell it again... Then you end up with a bunch of spam emails.

I recommend not doing the survey offers, just keep watching video ads or maybe download the apps (then delete them straight afterwards). Because videos cannot get your information.

James is right. Those surveys record your in game username as well as all the other information to make sure you get your gems (which doesn't work), then they sometimes sell your information and you get spammed
