Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

New update and effect on player trades and sales

How did the newest update effect player trades and sales (primarily turf cars) i.e. Changes in classes of cars like the wrx sport and cobra jet going down in class, and the c6.r corvette going up in class. Also the 1st place wheels in crates? Has this been fixed? If not, how has it affected prices of genuine 1st place cars? And any effect on the super rare cars?

Well I see whole accounts going up for sale like crazy with no intrested buyers. As far as individual sales seems like unwrapped Copos are all over, one i tried to buy and was too late, sold for 2.3 mill. This unwrapped copo had million dollar rims too. Before update i sold 2 out of 3 of my cobra jets for $30 each. The last one I have just got a rare or what used to be rare matte black paint, its been listed for a week at 25 obo and i dont even get good trade offers. Thats what i am seeing anyway

Yea the unwrapped copos and javlins went down the drain quickly, the c6 diddnt multiply quite as fast but im sure have depreciated in value as well. The f1 GTR and zondas seem to be the best sellers at the moment sold 4 in an hour and a half for 2m a peice! I hope the market picks back up soon I have a feeling it might be a good minute though :/
