Pretty much common sense... But have seen lots of threads about people getting scammed recently. It happens to all of us, even me in the past.
But you can do things to try and protect yourself.
First things first... If you are buying take your time and read the sellers vouches found on the sticky at the top.

Check names of vochees and dates of sales and deals. The more recent the better.
A genuine seller will happily wait until you have read their vouches. (it's our reputation and reflects our legitness) than question if their legit or not.
If you have less vouches or none be prepared to go first.
We have all done it and started from zero.
Check the sellers post count.
Check their ign precisely and spacing and numbers.
For example O can be number 0, etc etc.
If in doubt... Or if a deal seems to good to be true it probably isn't.
Genuine sellers and traders charge realistic prices for cars, as we know the market and values. Paying a little but more from someone with over 10+ vouches is better than someone with 1 or 2.
Stop yourself from being at risk and buy legit.
For those veterans who sell and decide to quit the game and sell their accounts. Please please please deleted your vouches pages when u do so and help protect your good name and your fellow racers.
Bump to keep this near the top for our fellow racing rivalers and keep it legit
Stay safe and fcuk the scammers

if you must have first rrc...pretending the buyer come on lobby with a class D car vs your max class you have...(S maxed class is sufficient),and prepared to do a normal race...He can not win that race with a D car vs your S car then he can't scam you.
Administrators this is well written and is GREAT advise to those just joining the game, this should become a STICKY TOPIC so that it stays IN SIGHT & IN MIND!!!
