Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Turf Tuning

Curious question.
how do people decide what is the best way to tune a car for lower rated rooms for turfing? for
example how would i know which set up would be faster doing a build up on turbos for my car
and nothing else to get 1640 and having a faster time/tune that someone doing engine and nos.
or all stage 2 build up.
i am trying to figure out how to know what tunes i should do for a lower rated room.
for example in a 1640 room i seen a car do 10.5 for turf while others are doing 12.0 in the same lobby.

Cars that are doing 10.5 are boosted no doubt but also mess with the tune . Just try and find a tune that works good for the lobby. If you're at like 1641 drop down to low 1640 for 1635-40 lobby. Good luck bro. Hope this somewhat helps

i understand that the 10.5-10.8 are boostest in the rating 1640-35 but im just wonderin what tunes would be best servered for low lobbys? cause if i can get a tune doing 10.9 no boost or 11.0 no boost and do 10.5 boosted it would be perfect.

It's easy to tune car if your not maxing it like for turf. First rule no maxed car should have nos unless it generates more power then the power to weight ratio. So here comes power to weight ratio story. First part: Upgr car to minimum weight with max power possible. Now calculate the power to weight ratio. Now for the second part: change all the parts that give more power then weight ratio. You see your car on same lvl runs even sometimes 0.4 second faster. Last importand rule try to build your car close to the top room cap. Anymore question I'll answer and btw if you need fast turf cars I'll build and sell them aswell. Gl folks

Ok so question, iv been playing this game for at least 6 months. And still can't come up with a decent lobby tune. I start with stock and go up, add all weight reduction and tranny. Then start HP to weight ratio, say stock part is 0.0123456 and stage one 0.012456 so stage one would be better cuz the numbers higher.. I calculate every part and write it down then go threw and start adding the highest parts. Doing about 6 then calculate again and add again cuz the numbers change every upgrade so I only add about 6 at once and recalculate. Getting to the top of say 45 lobby without going over and still can't manage to get a decent time... What am I doing wrong and could someone please message me and explain.. My idea ^^^ takes about 2 or 3 hrs to do one 45 tune and I can't get it right.. Please help

Hows your launch? To me it seems I win plenty just my getting to the lobby limit and really focusing on my launch.

I agree, launch and shift points are as important as the tune itself

Just try different setups. 10.5 will get crushed by a few cars in 40 lobby, as for the max a car without nos... Nos is REQUIRED for max. Or run max lobby without it and your car will be gone. Throw away those power/weight ratio ideas when turf tuning unless you find out how to factor in drivetrain in the equation. Drivetrain is important.
