Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I love the idea of making us watch random commercials for other games to speed up our installs. (I think it is a brilliant idea) Now the problem is that at random intervals you tell me that there are no videos available for me to watch to speed up the installation of my parts. So what I get from this is that you want me to wait 10hrs for the 120 shot of Nitrous before playing your game more. This makes no sense, why would you want me to not play your game more often. Even better why would you not want me to watch the commercials for other games more often. The more I am not playing your game, the more I am playing some other game that lets me play more often. I just want to race, let me race. Stop hampering me from playing your game.

However, I think it would be a fantastic idea if they double the amount of videos you can view for lessening install times. Keep it the same for getting free gems and cash.
We actually have no control over what videos play, how many there are, and where they can play.
Our ad partners are the ones who provide the videos and they are not infinite. Also they may not have videos for certain regions, the philosophy behind that is why advertise where your product isn't available. They may also only limit how many videos are available. We provide the "ad space" they control the ads.
