Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Understanding Car Ratios

So I've been going through people's NSX's (not setup) which are .2 faster as mine. My fastest time (w/ boost & fully upgraded) is 8.6, where as another person (can't say names) gets 8.3. Yet he tells me to do 1hp/5lbs and my car is like 200lbs lighter. Is that a good thing or not ? Also, if any one would kindly share their ratios on how they tune their car. I'm not saying share your set up. Thanks guys.

Power vs weight. For example if a part will give you 1.1hp and .9 tq but gain 3lbs not worth it. If a part will get you 1.1hp and .9tq and gain .3 lbs ok. You just have to look at weight and power. The lighter your car the faster it is. This isn't real life where you have to deal with traction issues. Well you do on here if you over rev. But in real life no way in hell your launching 1200 hp on nt05r tires. Tried it. Didn't work. So try to get the most power while staying the lightest. Hope this makes sense and helps

Its that with every car; just try to think when you start getting to the pro parts, "what is the smallest ratio I can get?" The higher the class, generally, the smaller the ratio and faster for the car
    (Hp.Lbs: 1.1 > 1.2 > 1.3 > 1.4 > 1.5 > 1.6 > 1.7). Remember that the smaller the second number is, the smaller the ratio is, and the faster your car will be.

when calculating weight to hp, try keeping the ratio low. ex: 2895 lbs / 850 hp = 3.405 *vs* 2900 lbs / 855 hp = 3.391, therefore technically the second stat would work better however it may not be the case for every car. (repost from a previous thread)

With boost, not without haha. But the setting I have now, it should hit 8.3 now. 67 Blow Nova showed me his NSX and ran 8.4-8.6 without boost.

All very interesting, I never assumed that the game was that in depth, I just went with the most expensive being the fastest, now to try other things. Thanks.
