Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

The turf started wednsday night for me (7PM EST) and the glitching killed my night early, The starting line glitch kept me from pointing up, like i should have. Now for the second time this week, you gave us a Mitsu event? Why the F would you do that, unless you want to kill the game? The lower lobby's, 30-35 are dead, I can't point. I built these cars for specific lobby's and they are now useless, wasted a lot of money to sit in a F'ing empty lobby. I won't build them up, as that's a lot of damage. I refuse to coin, to compete with another player. Your game has security issues, check the forums, you'll see. Your game has bad coding, A 1630 M6 that can't compete in the 30 lobby? That is Bullchit, Wont coin in a game where the customer is overlooked, stepped on and otherwise mistreated. I'm a level 250, supposedly maxxed out on level, in less than 4 months? that shows me you want fresh new people not those who figure it out without coining. I guess my game is pretty much done. I actually love this game, but refuse to play in a way i don't want to

    This is the second time in two weeks a brand got used twice in one week, last week it was Chevy.... Between 5 lobby ratings, I counted a total of 23 opponents just now. That's an average of less than 5 per lobby, but since 40 and 45 were empty the other 3 didn't look that bad. The game is dying if you ask me, I think they should introduce a few more B class cars because there aren't enough of those either while they are at it

    2/3 of my garage are b class cars, I only have two Mitsu's, both evo 8's and a 30 and a 35. In 24 hours i may have had 20 total races. Want to do a make stage? Do something with variety, Like Subies, fords, not coin dominated makes, like Mutsu's and chevy's.

    The showdowns should be about getting people interested in turf's, not alienating them. This is why the game is dying, the showdown is nothing but an individual turf and not everyone can do that. I think showdowns should be campaign classes (D-R) only, if special requirements are necessary. This, make and gem car showdowns, are killing this games future

    Just stating a fact, My team ended the first stage at 1,088th place. The end of the 2nd stage, we were 1,300th. You can tell the game is in bad shape, when you only drop 200 places and barely do a stage. BTW the next stage is Ford GT? i highly doubt we'll drop below 1,500th, much less fall out of the top 2,000. You need to fix, this fast sinking ship

    The game developers should just bump up the rewards for lower ranks on turfs and showdowns because the difference between being 750 and 751 in showdown is ridiculous also for turf, I think gettin 15K is better than getting 20 gems, just my point of view so they should even out the rewards because if you cant rank high enough u lose the will to compete because rewards that you get are not even close to the investments u have to make.

    If they would figure that out we would have a much active community...
    Beside that game is ok even tho some events do require weird cars xD

    The cash doesn't do much for me, as i can get 50k+ for my first 50 races. not a big deal. I race for the gems, as i don't spend money so get what i can. I have no problem with turfs having a special stage. It's a team event If you can't do it, more than likely someone else can, Showdowns on the other hand require no team affiliation, so opens turf world to many, who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity. GLU is missing the opportunity, to reach those who might not want the club feel, but want prize cars
