Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Hey Racers! In honor of a certain collegiate sports tournament that happens in March, we’re holding our own March Motor Mayhem! We’re taking the top 64 cars with the highest win percentage during the last month and pitting them against each other to see which car comes out on top as the biggest winner!

Round 1 – March 16th
Round 2 – March 19th
Round 3 – March 24th
Round 4 – March 27th
Round 5 – March 31st
Final Round – April 2nd

Each round starts at 12:00am UTC time and lasts for 48 hours. The next day we will announce the cars that advance to the next round. The next round starts the next day, again at 12:00am UTC.

FAQ
Q: How does a car advance?
A: After the round is over, we will look to see which car has the highest win percentage, meaning which car won the majority of its races. To even the field a bit we’re looking at the percentage of wins to races instead of the total number of wins.

Q: Do Racer Showdown and Turf War races count?
A: No, we will only be counting regular multiplayer races.

Q: How can I participate?
A: Check out the car pairings and race in multiplayer races using that car. Every race a car wins adds to it’s percentage.

Q: What happens at the end? Do we get a prize?
A: No, we’re doing this for fun, to see what car will actually be the top winner!

Q: Do the two paired cars need to race against each other?
A: No, we’re not looking to see which car beats the other, we’re looking to see which car wins the most compared to how many races it participates in.
